Tuesday night volleyball results

The Marion High School volleyball team took Collegiate to three games
(15-25, 26-24, 17-25) Tuesday night, but fell short of upsetting the
Spartans in Wichita. The Warriors defeated Halstead (25-19, 25-21) and
own a 24-10 season record.

The Hillsboro High School volleyball team took a 3-game loss against
Smoky Valley (19-25, 25-11, 11-25) but defeated Hesston (27-25, 25-13)
for their 26th win of the season.

The Centre High School volleyball team defeated Burrton (13-25, 25-9,
25-11) in the first round of Tuesday's regional 1A tournament. The
Cougars were eliminated by Elyria Christian (25-18, 25-10) in the
second round. Centre finished with a 15-17 season record.

Elyria went
on to lose to top-seeded Hutchinson-Central Christian (25-3, 25-9), but
will play at the Rosalia-Flinthills substate at 2 p.m. Saturday.
