Tabor women’s soccer season ends in KCAC semis

The sixth-seeded Tabor College women’s soccer season came to a close in the semifinals of the KCAC tournament Tuesday with a 5-0 loss to No. 2 Kansas Wesleyan.

The Bluejays managed just four shots in the game, with none being shots on goal.

Kansas Wesleyan, meanwhile, tallied 24 shots, including 12 shots on goal. The Coyotes scored in the eighth minute and the 33rd minute to lead, 2-0 at halftime, and polished the victory with three second-half goals.

Goalkeeper Carly Rowan had seven saves.

The Bluejays end the season with an overall record of 11-9.

With the win, Kansas Wesleyan advances to face top-seeded Ottawa in the championship Friday.
