Tabor men a No. 2 seed, women a No. 3 in respective national tournaments

Tena LoewenThe brackets for the NAIA Division II Women?s and Men?s basketball championships were released Wednesday.

WOMEN?Tabor is the No. 3 seed in the Duer Bracket, one of four teams seeded third in the 32-team field. The Bluejays (26-7) will face No. 6 Hastings (19-11) Thursday, March 10 at 8:30 a.m.

With a win, Tabor would play either No. 2 St. Francis (Ill., 28-4) or No. 7 Asbury (Ky., 23-9) Friday, March 11 at 3:30 p.m.

The quarterfinals will be played March 12, semifinals March 14 and championship March 15.

All games will be played at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

MEN?Tabor is the No. 2 seed in the Cramer Bracket, one of four teams seeded second in a 32-team field. The Bluejays (30-3) will face No. 7 IU East (Ind., 19-13) March 10 at noon.

With a win, Tabor would play either No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan (28-3) or No. 6 Valley City State (N.D., 21-10) Friday, March 11 at 1:45 p.m. Lance Carter

The quarterfinals will be played March 12, semifinals March 14 and championship March 15.

All games will be played at Keeter Gymnasium in Point Lookout, Mo.
