Tabor baseball wallops Ft. Hays State 13-3

Tabor?s offense exploded in a 13-3 win against NCAA Division II foe Fort Hays State in Hays on Wednesday.

Tabor scored one in the third, one in the fourth and three in the fifth to gain a?5-0 advantage. FHSU scored one in the sixth, but a six-run top of the seventh by Tabor killed any hopes of a Tiger comeback. The game ended after eight innings due to the run-rule.

Tabor is third in the KCAC (24-15, 10-6) and?will host the first doubleheader of an four-game series with defending KCAC regular season and tournament champion Kansas Wesleyan (24-13, 11-5) Friday. The Coyotes are sitting in the second place slot in the KCAC standings.

Doubleheader time in?Hillsboro Friday is?2 p.m. The series concludes Saturday.
