Pavement replacement in Marion County

Beginning Monday, April 20, work will begin for pavement replacement on a three-mile long section of US-56/US-77 in Marion County. The section begins approximately two miles north of Lincolnville at 310th Avenue and extends North to 340th Avenue at Lost Springs Corner.

Traffic signals will be used to direct one 11-foot lane of traffic through construction. Traffic should expect delays of up to 15 minutes and plan extra time in their travel schedules.

Emery Sapp and Sons Inc. of Columbia, MO is the prime contractor for this $3.4 million project and have scheduled work to be completed by mid-August, weather permitting.
