The brackets for the NAIA Division II women?s and men?s basketball national championship tournament have been released. Both Tabor College basketball teams will participate in the tournament after sweeping the KCAC championships Monday.
WOMEN?The women?s basketball tournament will be held at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, March 12-18.
The Tabor women (21-10) are scheduled to play Northwestern (27-4) in the first round Thursday, March 13 at 1:45 p.m. The winner will face either Huntington (23-8) or Menlo (25-5) Friday, March 14 at 1:45 p.m.
Quarterfinals will be played Saturday, March 15, with the semifinals to follow Monday, March 17. The championship is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18.
MEN?The men?s basketball tournament will be held at Keeter Gymnasium in Point Lookout, Mo., March 12-18.
Tabor (20-12) is scheduled to face IU Southeast (25-4) in the first round Thursday, March 13 at 5:45 p.m. The winner will face either Robert Morris (23-9) or Saint Francis (21-10) Friday, March 14 at 5:45 p.m.
Quarterfinals will be played Saturday, March 15, with the semifinals to follow Monday, March 17. The championship is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18.
