MHS tops Nickerson 28-7

The Warriors hammered the Panthers in the second half of Friday's visit to Nickerson, pulling away from a 7-7 halftime tie to on the strength of physical defense. Drew Maddox scored the winning touchdown on a 38-yard sprint down the left sideline in the third quarter, Sheldon Boone tacked on a 1-yard plunge later in the quarter and Eric Vogel returned a fumbled 40 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
