The Marion volleyball team will be the No. 4 seed in the Class 3A sub-state hosted by Riley County Saturday. The Warriors (27-10) will face No. 5 Southeast of Saline (19-15) in quarterfinal action.
The bracket also features No. 1 Silver Lake (32-5) versus No. 8 Mission Valley (11-24), who will open play at 2 p.m.; No. 2 St. Marys (30-7) versus No. 7 Rossville (13-21), also at 2 p.m.; and No. 3 Council Grove (25-9) versus No. 6 Riley County (14-20).
The Warriors will take to the court 20 minutes after the conclusion of the Silver Lake/Mission Valley match.
