Julia Zeiner signs track and field letter with Kansas State

Julia Zeiner, Marion High School senior, signed a letter of intent Thursday (March 4) to pursue track and field at Kansas State University next school year. She is the first female athlete from MHS to sign with a Division I university. Zeiner is the defending Class 3A state champion in the long jump and triple jump, becoming the first multiple-event state champion at MHS since Gary Melcher won the discus and shot put in 1969.
