Bob Hein, Marion County commissioner from Hillsboro, suffered a stroke Sunday and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was suffering from blood on the brain and surgery was being considered for either Sunday night or Monday morning. A report Monday morning states that Hein is “doing better” and surgery has been scheduled for Monday evening.
