Tuesday's Marion County general election saw incumbents fall to challengers in more than one community. ?Election turn out was very low,? said Carol Maggard, county clerk, with only 16 percent of eligible voters casting ballots. Eligible voters in Marion County totals 6,938 with 1,126 voting April 7 in 11 polling locations.
The official results will not be announced until after the Marion County Commissioners canvass votes at 8 a.m. Monday, April 13, prior to their regular meeting.
