Deaths: Ted Dielman

Ted E. Dielman, 68, retired University of Michigan professor, formerly of Canton, died June 29 at his home in Green Valley, Ariz.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Canton Christian Church. A private committal service of cremated remains in Canton Township Cemetery will precede the service.

Friends may call Monday, July 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Olson?s Mortuary in Canton.

He was born Aug. 15, 1939, to Frederick and Hazel Farrell Dielman in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Debra of Green Valley; two sons, Steven of Falls Church, Va., and Christopher of Flagstaff, Ariz.; his mother, Hazel Critchlow of Canton; a brother, Terry Dielman of Colleyville, Texas; a stepbrother, Joe Critchlow of Clearwater; his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Golden of Green Valley; his brother-in-law, James Golden of Green Valley and his canine companion, Mickey.

Memorials have been established with Green Fields Country Day School and Sharon United Methodist Church of Manchester, Mich., in care of Olson?s Mortuary at 139 N. Main, P.O. Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.
