Mildred Friesen, 97, homemaker from Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, in Hillsboro.
The private service for family was officiated by pastor David Plett, Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
She was born Oct. 6, 1911, to Andrew H. Heinze and Julia Batthauer at Dorrance. On Oct. 2, 1932, she was married to Herbert T. Friesen, who predeceased her in 1996.
She is survived by two daughters, Carroll Stevens of Chimavo, N. M., and Donna Richert of Lane; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
