DEATHS: Julie S. Hoyer, 59

Julie S. Hoyer, 59, of Canton, died unexpectedly Jan. 29, at her home in rural Canton. She was a secretary for Te-Pe Oil & Gas, Canton.

She was born July 18, 1951, to Robert E. and Susie L. (Rudiger) Decker in McPherson. On June 6, 1971, she was married to Charles H. Hoyer, who survives.

She also is survived by a son, James (Patricia) Hoyer of Wichita; brother, Dwight (Jeanne) Decker of Canton; sister, Nadine (Steve) Spence, McPherson; a granddaughter, Emma Elaine Hoyer; foster son, Ron (Cate) Sharp, Wichita and two foster granddaughters, Ally and Brecken Sharp.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Canton Christian Church. Inurnment will be in Canton Township Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established with the Receptor Delta Kappa Beta Sigma Phi for charitable donation, in care of Olson?s Mortuary, Canton.
