Amos W. Rogers, 97, a retired ditching contractor, died Tuesday, June 17, at The Cedars in McPherson. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson. Burial with military honors will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Rox?bury.
He was born Oct. 21, 1919, in Roxbury to William Penn and Lilly (Meyers) Rogers. On June 29, 1941, he was married to Floriene Berg, who survives. He also is survived by a son, Ken?neth W. Rogers (Joan Berg) of Pea?body; friend and caregiver Sheila Smidt of McPherson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
