DEATH William Davis, 85

William E. Davis, 85, an electronics foreman, died Sunday, May 24, at his home in Marion.

Visitation and Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, and Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, both at Holy Family Parish, St. Mark?s Catholic Church in Marion. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Shawnee.

He was born May 28, 1923, to William S. and Ethel M. (McGrew) Davis in Keystone, Mo. On Oct. 28, 1946, he was married to Mary Transue, who survives.

Other survivors include son Jim and Jeanette Davis of Marion; daughters Mary and Tom Blandin of Lubbock, Texas and Jacqueline and Bret Cortright Sr. of Shawnee; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion is in charge of arrangements.
