DEATH: Wanda I Ratzlaff

Wanda I. Ratzlaff, 66, Newton, former music teacher, church secretary and organist, died Wednesday, June 28, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

A family service is planned for 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, in the chapel at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, followed at 10 a.m. by burial in the Alexanderwohl Cemetery. A public memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Alexanderwohl Church.

She was born Jan. 4, 1942, to Harold A. and Esther I. (Kuehny) Bechtel in Blackwell, Okla. On May 29, 1966, she was married to Norman Ratzlaff, who survives.

She is also survived by a daughter, Donna and Bill Hetrick of Wichita; one son, Rodney D. Ratzlaff of Overland Park; one sister, Elaine and Alvin Claassen of Whitewater; one sister-in-law, Sue Bechtel of Sedgwick; and two grandchild?ren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Treble Clef Club of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
