DEATH: Viola Baker-Suderman

VIOLA BAKER-SUDERMAN, 99, died Feb. 5 in Riverside, Calif.

The service will be at a later date in Belmond, Iowa.

She was born Aug. 6, 1915, to Joe and Sena Asbe Larson in Kanawaha, Iowa. On June 10, 1939 she was married to Curtis R. Baker who predeceased her on Sept. 7, 1977. She was married to Dan Suderman on Nov. 27, 1981, who predeceased her on Dec. 14, 2000.

Survivors include sons Ray and wife Ginger of Moreno Valley, Calif., Jim and wife Elaine of Hills?boro, and Curtis Jr. and wife Diane of Lexington, N.C.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; stepfamily members Harriet Suderman, Ron and wife Sharon Suderman, Elva Suderman, Dale Suderman; eight step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; step-great-great grandchildren; sisters Virginia Logli and Lorraine Thorson, both of Ankeny, Iowa, and Shirley Eichner, Milo, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
