DEATH: Robert “Bob” Mushrush, 88

Robert “Bob” Mushrush, 88, of Elmdale, died May 1 at his home in rural Elmdale.

The service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, at First Presbyterian Church USA, Cottonwood Falls. Burial will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery. No formal visitation is scheduled.

He was born June 15, 1929, to William Roy “Pat” and Blanche Marian (Smith) Mushrush at Cottonwood Falls. On Dec. 21, 1950, he was married to Oma Lou Frey, who predeceased him on Dec. 19, 2015.

Survivors include son Joe Mushrush (Connie) of Elmdale; daughter Barbara “Barby” Hanschu (Rick) of Ramona; sister Lois June Kelly of Cottonwood Falls; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Chase County Fair Asso­ciation or First Presby­terian Church, USA, and sent in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, P.O. Box 220, Cotton­wood Falls, KS 66845.
