Nelson P. Funk, 75, a farmer and carpenter, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Salem Home of Hillsboro.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Trinity Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with pastor Jeff Wintermote officiating.
Burial is at Haven of Rest Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St.
He was born Sept. 13, 1933, to Arthur and Katherine (Pankratz) Funk in Hillsboro. On Dec. 28, 1959, he was married to Mary Jane Unruh, who survives.
Other survivors include daughter Denise and Jim Faye, Jr., of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers Kenneth Funk and Linferd Funk both of Hillsboro, Norman Funk and Jim Funk, both of Marion; sister Edith Unruh and two grandchildren.
