Lorene Eleanor Holloway, 84, of Lehigh, an egg candler and housekeeper for a local motel until her retirement in 1990, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, at McPherson Care Center in McPherson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Grace Lutheran Church, 800 E. First St., with pastor Dale Dumperth officiating. Burial will be at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson.
She was born May 25, 1925, to Herbert and Bertha (Ollek) Weyand in Lehigh. On Feb. 16, 1946, she was married to LeRoy Holloway Sr., who predeceased her in 2005.
Survivors include son LeRoy Holloway Jr. of McPherson; daughter Janis Kay Kelley of Garfield; twin sister Lenora Martens of McPherson; brother Gerald Weyand of Norton and step-sister Gloria Wolf of Wichita.
