Leeland M. Crawford, 71, a self-employed construction worker, died Wednesday, July 1, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel, 918 Seventh St., Clay Center, with pastor Gerald Martin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 6, 1937, to George R. and Lottie Mae (Bergman) Crawford, in Clay Center. In October 1957, he was married to Darlene Chaput and they divorced in 1974. In March 1977, he was married to Lillian Brown Stutz, who predeceased him in 2008.
Survivors include sons Robert and Cheryl Crawford of Clyde and Randy and Lori Lalouette Crawford of Marion; daughter Janet and Robert Craft of Marion; brothers Loun Crawford, Lawrence Crawford, Lowell Crawford and Mickey Crawford, all of Clay Center; sisters Lois Lee of California and Lela Eye of Missouri; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
