DEATH: John Hayen

John H. Hayen, 74, a cattleman and farmer from Marion, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident near Marion.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion the pastor Mike Eurit officating. Burial will be in Grant Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 26, 1934, to Walter and Dorothy (Collett) Hayen in the Youngtown community near Marion.

He is survived by his siblings Max and wife Donna, Virginia Downing and Marilyn Geis all of Marion, Leon and wife Catherine of Topeka and Carmen Parrack of Plano, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Eastmoor United Methodist Church or Marion Senior Center in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, KS 66861.
