DEATH: Jim Dalke, 68

Jim Dalke, 68, retired truck mechanic at AMPI, died April 30 in Hillsboro.

The funeral is at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Hillsboro United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 905 East D. St., Hillsboro.

Burial also is Thursday at Haven of Rest cemetery, one mile east of Hillsboro with pastor Morita Truman officiating.

He was born July 15, 1946, to Abraham and Doris (Foster) Dalke at Hillsboro. On March 7, 1970, he was married to Susan Bliss at Hillsboro.

Survivors include son Ben and wife Holly Dalke of Hillsboro; daughter Adrianna and son Craig Meder of Gardner; three grandchildren; brothers John and wife Delores of Hillsboro and Dan and wife Donna of rural Hillsboro; sisters Ruth and husband Larry Hamm of Hillsboro and Mary and Larry Allen near Oklahoma City, Okla.

Memorials may be made to Hillsboro American Legion Youth Programs, and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, P.O. Box 266, Hillsboro, KS 67063.
