DEATH: Jack Quentin Summerville, 89

Jack Quentin Summerville, 89, of Marion, and a retired municipal judge, died July 10 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The service was July 14 at Valley United Methodist, 300 Santa Fe St., Marion.

Burial was at Marion Cemetery.

He was born July 2, 1925, to William and Etta Mae (Suffield) Summervill at Marion. (Due to an error on the birth certificate, Jack became a ?Summerville.?) On Jan. 25, 1945, he was married to Peggy Gerstenkorn, who survives.

Other survivors include son John and wife Becky Summerville; daughter Jeannie Maki; sister Dawna Denney; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Eastmoor United Methodist Church or the Hillsboro American Legion Post 366 and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, KS 66861.
