DEATH: Harold Pankratz, 86

Harold Pankratz, 86, of Hillsboro, died Sept. 25 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe.

Visitation with family present is from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Hillsboro, also in charge of arrangements.

He was born March 16, 1929, to Albert and Anna (Scheikosky) Pankratz at Hillsboro. On June 1, 1951, he was married to Esther Loewen, who survives.

Other survivors include son Glen and wife Betty Pankratz of Wichita; daughters Cheryl Olsen and Mylene Serpan, both of Sedgwick; brother Paul and wife Sheryl Pankratz of Bellavista, Ark.; sisters Marjorie and husband Ray Just of rural Hillsboro and Marilyn Nealy of Titusville, Fla.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Senior Center and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, P.O. Box 266, Hillsboro, KS 67063.
