Gertrude Loretta Heard, 79, of Salina, who was a teacher in Scottsdale, Ariz., died Aug. 10.
A private family burial will be at a later time.
She was born April 2, 1937, to Laurence “Ted” and Mildred (Dunn) Moore of Herington. Her husband, Norman Heard, predeceased her.
Survivors include sister Sara Mosier; sister-in-law Ruth Cashmore and three nieces.
