DEATH: Frank J. Willems 95

Frank J. Willems, 95, a retired pastor of Newton, died March 6 at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.

The service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Koerner Heights Church, 320 N. Meridian Road, Newton, with pastor Tim Mace officiating.

Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Spring Valley Cemetery in rural Canton.

He was born March 30, 1919, to Jacob and Lena (Boldt) Willems at Waldheim, Saskatchewan.

Survivors include sons Joe Willems of Hillsboro and Harry Willems of Great Bend; daughter Sunny Christensen of Marion; one brother; three sisters; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Kansas Christian Home and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, P.O. Box 266, Hillsboro, KS 67063, also in charge of arrangements.
