Eunice M. Schmidt, 88, a lifelong resident of Goessel and a homemaker, died Nov. 16 at Bethesda Home.
The memorial service is at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Goessel Mennonite Church with pastor Brad Penner officiating.
Burial is at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Goessel Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
She was born July 16, 1928, to Victor and Elma Klassen Schroeder at Goessel. On June 13, 1950, she was married to Wilbert Schmidt, who survives.
Other survivors include daughter Dyann (William) Bockstahler, Homewood,Ill.; son Kenley (Susan) of Rochester, Minn,; sister LaVerna Ediger of Inman; brothers Goldwyn Schroeder of Sacramento, Calif., Johnny Schroeder of Hesston, Jimmy Schroeder of Canton and Ira Don Schroeder of Parker, Colo.; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
