Ennis E. Unruh, 87, a rural mail carrier, died Tuesday, March 3, at Bethesda Home in Goessel.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro, 102 S. Ash, with pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery,
He was born Feb. 3, 1922 to Albert and Katie (Schroeder) Unruh in Goessel. On Nov. 3, 1946, he was married to Dayle Klassen in Hillsboro, who survives.
Other survivors include son David R. and Penny Unruh of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter Nancy and Joel Klaassen of Hillsboro; brother Richard Unruh of Inman; sister Lillian and Charley Voth of Hesston; grandchildren Amy and George Cameli of Atlanta, Ga.; Dan Klaassen of Yakima, Wash.; and Whitney Unruh of Los Angeles; and great-grandchildren Alex and Louis Cameli of Atlanta.
Memorials may be made to Bethesda Home Special Care Unit or American Legion Post 366 Scholarship Fund in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Hillsboro, KS 67063.
