Emma Weber, 87, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 9, at her home in Herington.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Shadybrook) north of Herington with pastor John Riebhoff officiating. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory in the Herington Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday, May 12, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Monday with pastor Eugene Hicks officiating at the funeral home. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
She was born Dec. 1, 1921, to Jacob H. and Eva Elizabeth (Wasamiller) Winter near Durham. On Aug. 18, 1946, she was married to Eldon G. Weber, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons Marvin and Shari Weber of Vasser; Vernon and Mary Weber of Herington; brother Edwin and Alice Winter of Hillsboro; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Dickinson County Hospice and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Herington Chapel, 404 S. Broadway, Herington, KS 67449-3038.
