Dorothy M. Schmidt, 94, a retired teacher, died Sept. 3 at Newton Medical Center in Newton.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Grace Hill Mennonite Church in rural Newton. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Hill Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9 and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 10 with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. All visitation will be at Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main St., Newton.
