DEATH: Clayton Ross Turner

Clayton Ross turner, 82, Hope, died Thursday, Aug. 9 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be at 1:3o p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17 at the Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington, with Pastor Gary Schrader, officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Hope Cemetery.

He was born February 21, 1936, the son of Walter W. and Lula P. (Whittaker) Turner. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Turner of Hope; seven children, Ron (Teri) and Glen Turner of Hope, Tonya Johnson, Aaron Lauxman (Tina), Larry Lauxman, Tammy Smith of Hope, and Toni Riffel (Marc) of Woodbine; 9 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials to Tammy Walker Cancer Center of Salina. They may be sent to Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington Chapel, 404 S. Broadway, Herington, KS 67449-3038.
