Chris Gordon Cummings, 60, a retired history teacher in Hillsboro, died Sept. 6, 2013, at his home in Hutchinson after a lengthy battle with diabetes.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Community Church of the Brethren, 1600 N. Severance St., Hutchinson, with Marlo Oltman and Ed Switzer officiating.
Visitation continues until 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson
