DEATH: Charles Jeremiah Stang, 18

Charles Jeremiah Stang, 18, homeschooled with plans to attend Kansas State University this fall, died Friday, July 24, at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, from injuries he received in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday, July 22, in northern Marion County.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion, with pastor Jeremiah Lange officiating. Burial will be at Marion Cemetery.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

He was born March 15, 1991, to Cheryl (Sheets) Stang and Jim Stang of Marion.

Survivors include his parents; siblings Amanda (David) Morse of Wichita, Brandon West of Manhattan, Jessica West of Ft. Campbell, Ken., Joseph, Nathaniel of Victoria and Cassandra and Shepherd Stang of Marion; grandparents Charles and Mary Ann Sheets of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Marvin and Mary Jo Stang of Wichita; many nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Jeremiah Stang Memorial Fund (to be designated at a later date) and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Box 6, Marion, KS 66861.
