DEATH: Ann Marie (Kane) Religa, 53

Ann Marie (Kane) Religa, 53, of Newton, died Nov. 4 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita after a five-year battle with cancer. She was employed as Harvey County?s 4H youth development extension agent.

The service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 415 S. Ash St., Newton.

The burial service will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Paola.

Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Newton. Rosary is at 7 p.m. with the family present after.

She was born June 30, 1962, to William and Catherine Kane at Paola. On April 9, 1988, she was married to Mark Religa, who survives.

Other survivors include her mother? sisters Mary Kane of Manhattan, Helen and husband Delbert Ramsey of Lyndon, and Alice and husband Flint Toews of Canton, and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Kansas 4H Foundation Rock Springs Ranch, Harvey County 4H Development Fund and Kansas FFA and sent in care of Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main St., Newton, KS 67114.
