The Kansas State High School Activities Association released its sub-state tournament seedings Wednesday morning. Here are the matchups for the Class 3A sub-state tournament hosted by Marion. The first round of sub-state, though, will be played on the home court of the higher seeded team. The girls open play Monday while the first round of boys? games will be Tuesday. The semifinals for girls will be played Thursday at Marion while the boys? semifinals will be Friday at Marion.
GIRLS – Monday games, 7 p.m. start
No. 1 Southeast of Saline (14-6) will receive a bye (St. John?s Military does not have a girls? team)
No. 4 Marion (12-8) will host (5) Halstead (12-8)
No. 2 Hutchinson Trinity (13-6) will host No. 7 Sedgwick (9-11)
No. 3 Remington (12-8) will host No. 6 Hillsboro (10-9)
BOYS – Tuesday games, 7 p.m. start
No. 1 Hutchinson Trinity (19-0) will host No. 8 Southeast of Saline (3-17)
No. 4 Halstead (11-9) will host No. 5 Remington (6-14)
No. 2 Sedgwick (18-2) will host No. 7 St. John?s Military (3-16)
No. 3 Hillsboro (12-7) will host No. 6 Marion (5-15)
