Joseph Lee Koehn, 31, of Burns, was injured Thursday morning in a one-vehicle accident about a mile west of the Kansas Highway 254 junction and Arapaho Road in Butler County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Koehn was traveling eastbound in a 2001 Ford truck on Kansas Highway 254 when he suffered a medical problem.
?(Koehn) drove off the roadway into a field on the south side of the road and struck a tree,? a KHP official said.
He was taken by ambulance to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The report stated he was wearing a seatbelt, but no other details were available at press time.
