Another positive case of COVID-19

Last night, Marion County Health Department released the news that there is a lab confirmed positive COVID-19 case identified in Marion County. The case has been placed in isolation.

Contact tracing is underway and contacts are/will be placed in quarantine. A close contact is defined as being within 6 feet for 10 minutes or longer. The Marion County Health Department is working with KDHE and will be monitoring the individuals placed in Isolation and quarantine. No further information about the patient will be released.

Please follow social distancing and infection control measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

    • Stay Home when sick
    • Practice social distancing
    • Practice thorough hand washing with soap and water or hand sanitizer
    • Wear a mask in public
