TC women to play in NAIA tournament beginning March 7

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN AO
The Tabor College women’s basketball team, at large berth in hand, will be traveling to Sioux City, Iowa for the NAIA tournament, where they will compete as one of four No. 4 seeds in the 32 team field.

The Bluejays will meet the Cardinal Stritch Wolves on March 7 at 8:30 a.m., with the winner advancing to play in a second round game at noon on March 9.

There are two potential matchups should the Bluejays advance to the second round.

Tabor would meet the winner of the game between undefeated top-seed Indiana Wesleyan and No. 8 seed Saint Joseph (Vt.).

But with the Wolves preparing for their first round matchup, Tabor can ill-afford to look ahead.

Cardinal Stritch (24-5 overall, 8-0 in conference) was awarded an at-large berth and a No. 5 seed for the tournament. The Wolves hail from the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and were eliminated from their conference tournament in the final round by Trinity Christian (Ill.).
