HHS FFA teams fare well in contests

The Hillsboro High School FFA Chapter competed in the South Central District Poultry and Dairy Foods events on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Marion High School.

Members participating in the A team portion of the poultry contest were Alex Jost, Amanda Bartel, Sierra Langley and Kelsie Penner. The team placed third.

The freshman team of Jacob Fish, Jacob Edwards, and Jared King placed second.

In the freshman division, Fish placed fifth individually and Edwards placed third.

Also participating were members Breanna Allen, John Hein, Andy Klassen and Brandon Brown.

Members also competed in the Dairy Foods events. Alex Jost placed third overall and Jacob Fish placed 10th overall in the freshman division.
