SENIOR SCRIBBLES

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN BY CINDY BAIZE
The Hillsboro Senior Center is in the process of hiring a new manager, as Cindy Baize’s last day is Jan. 31. Applications for the part-time position may be picked up at the center office.

Mary McFadden will begin visiting the center to give foot care on the first two Tuesdays of each month. Call the center for appointments, which begin at 9 a.m.

Jill Bremyer-Archer will speak on long-term care insurance on Feb. 6.

Jeannie Rziha will offer her diabetics class from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 6, 12, 20 and 27. Class fee is $25, with no additional fee if a spouse wished to attend as well.

Call the center if you would like assistance from a Tabor College student with tax-return preparation this year.

Those who would like to begin receiving the monthly newsletter can call 947-2301 or stop by the center.

A big thank-you to our weekly volunteers.
