Rachelle Brenzikofer

Rachelle D’Ann Brenzikofer, 44, Western Associates customer service representative and receptionist, died Jan. 25 in Marion.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Marion Christian Church.

She was born June 13, 1962, to Richard and Rhonda (Rath) Brenzikofer in Marion.

She is survived by her son, Trevor A. Jones, of Manhattan; her parents; and two sisters, Renae and Dean Pusateri of Wichita and Robin and Tom Adam of Garnett.

A memorial has been established with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in care of Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

Stanley Ewert

Stanley D. Ewert, 69, retired employee of Memorial Hospital housekeeping department, died Jan. 20 in McPherson.

The service was held Jan. 26 at Stockham Family Funeral Home in McPherson with Sherman Nungester officiating. Burial was in McPherson Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 19, 1938, to Samuel and Linda (Thimm) Ewert in Marion.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Dixie Ewert of Great Bend; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial has been established with McPherson Public Library.

Margaret Goentzel

Margaret (Jost) Goentzel, 94, died Jan. 27 in Fairview, Okla.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

The service is at 11 a.m. Feb. 1 at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church in rural Hillsboro with pastors Roland Reimer and Ernie Friesen officiating. Burial is at Ebenfeld Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 24, 1913, to John R. and Helena (Baerg) Jost in Hooker, Okla. On April 28, 1935, she was married to Leo J. Goentzel, who died in 1981.

She is survived by two sons, LeRoy and Norma of Denver, Colo., and Charles and Sandy of Wichita; two daughters, Jane and Robert Eitzen of Fairview, Okla., and Allene and Delmer Schultz of Granger, Ind.; a brother, Harold Jost of Hillsboro; three sisters, Edna Janzen of Newhall, Calif., Ellen Ewy of Reedley, Calif.; and Melinda Smith of Lansdale, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Tabor College.

Margaret Morris

Margaret Florence Morris, 81, died Jan. 28 in Shawnee.

She was born Oct. 19, 1925, in Peabody. She was married to Joe Morris, who died in 1976.

She is survived by three daughters, Laura and Don Swartz of Shawnee, Jolene and Mike Scheidt of Wichita and Lera and Hugh Foster of Louisburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Odyssey Hospice of Kansas City, Mo., in care of Baker Funeral Home in Peabody.

Leona Reiman

Leona (Riffel) Reiman, 94, former Centre High School cook, died Jan. 26 in Centennial, Colo.

The service was held Jan. 30 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville with Alan Stahlecker officiating. Burial was at Lincolnville Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 8, 1912, to John and Johanna (Henke) Riffel in Lincolnville. On March 1, 1936, she was married to John F. Reiman, who died in 1980.

She is survived by two daughters, Marlene and Paul Dozier of Centennial and Ann and Jerry Eckles of Ness City; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with St. John’s Lutheran Church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
