Margaret Rogers and Eli Sweany, both of Manhattan, were married July 22 at Manhattan City Park with Jack Sweany officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Nancy Rogers of Hillsboro. The groom is the son of Jack and Denise Sweany of Great Bend.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of yellow roses and lilies around a stargazer lily.
Maid of honor was Heather Talbot, friend of the bride. Bridesmaid was Heather Diemer, friend of the bride.
Best man was Phil Appel, friend of the groom. Groomsman was Brandon Enabnit, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Victor and Jerrod Rogers, brothers of the bride, and Mitch Diemer, friend of the couple.
Guestbook attendants were Rhonda Rogers, sister of the bride, and Becky Faber, cousin of the bride. Gift carrier was Harry Faber, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Crestview Christian Church, hosted by Dave and Connie Faber, uncle and aunt of the bride.
Reception assistants were Janna Sweany, sister of the groom, Amanda Faber, cousin of the bride, and Crystal Spence, friend of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and is attending Manhattan Christian College and Kansas State University.
The groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School and Manhattan Christian College. He works in the maintenance department at Auth-Florence Manufacturing.
Following a honeymoon to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the couple resides in Manhattan.
