Filling the cavity

Work began Wednesday on the new dental office being built at the corner of Grand and Washington by McPherson Dental Care LLC. In the top photo, crew members from C.J.’s Backhoe Inc. began digging what turned out to be a huge hole for the basement of the building under pleasant temperatures. By Friday afternoon, workers from Yoder Builders had poured the footings. In the left photo, those workers were back on the job Monday afternoon with temperatures in the teens on the heels of the arctic front that pushed through over the weekend.
