Daggett joins Whitely’s staff at Peabody medical clinic

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN
Family physician Randolph Whitely and Dana Daggett hold the new panel for the sign outside the Heritage Medical Associates clinic in Peabody indicating Daggett’s addition to the medical staff as a nurse practitioner. Daggett began her practice at the clinic on Thursday. The Wichita native graduated from nursing school at Wichita State University in 1992, then went back to WSU for nurse-practitioner training in 2003. After graduating in 2006, she worked at the Hunter Health Clinic in Wichita. She was employed for most of her professional career in the Butler County Health Department. Daggett’s addition to the staff will further strengthen the clinic’s services in obstetrics care. Daggett said she accepted the position at HMA party for that reason. “I was impressed with Dr. Whitely, he’s very personable,” Daggett said. “And I thought I could learn a lot from him because there aren’t many family practitioners anymore that do OB all the way up to geriatrics.” Daggett will commute to Peabody from El Dorado, where she lives with husband Clarence and 10-year-old son Seth.
