The Hillsboro High School Scholars’ Bowl team went 1-4 for the day Jan. 4 at Southeast Saline.
The team defeated Sedgwick, 30-0, and lost to Ellsworth, 50-60, Sacred Heart, 40-80, Quivira Heights, 30-40, and Bennington, 30-100.
Team members were Daniel Berg, Max Thiel, Matthew Brown, Cody Blackketter and Sam Bookless.
The league meet will be held Jan. 27, followed by regionals Feb. 1.
