She is survived by two sons, Josh Heim of Moundridge and Sean Heim of Canton; three daughters, Alicia Turner of Canton, Angela Diederich of Elyria and Aimee Heim of Canton; her mother, Loretta Brooks of Wichita; two brothers, William Brooks of Udall and John Brooks of Wichita; two sisters, Judy Brooks of El Dorado and Jill Pray of Wichita; and six grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society.
Hazel F. Dallke, 83, died Dec. 27 at Legacy Park in Peabody.
Services were held Dec. 30 at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923, to Cicero and Jennie Rosa Harbit Dowell in Monroe City, Mo. On Dec. 22, 1940, she was married to LeRoy A. Dallke, who died Dec. 16.
She is survived by a son, Randy and Cindy of Peabody; a daughter, Patsy and Tim Litton of Peabody; a sister, Edna Schill of Legacy Park; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas in North Newton.
Elmer Klassen, 100, retired farmer and Associated Milk Producers Inc. employee, died Dec. 23 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The service was held Dec. 27 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Tim Kliewer officiating. Burial was at Johannestal Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.
He was born Sept. 29, 1906, to Abraham and Anna (Goertz) Klassen in Hillsboro. On Sept. 29, 1933, he was married to Elda Plenert, who died in 2006.
He is survived by three sons, Dwaine of Wichita, Richard of Grand Junction, Colo., and Jay of Hillsboro; a daughter, Joan Wilson of Olathe; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Leander Loewen, 93, retired farmer, died Dec. 24 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The service was held Dec. 30 at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church in rural Hillsboro with pastor Gaylord Goertzen officiating. Burial was in Ebenfeld Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 7, 1913, to Isaac and Agnes (Cornelsen) Loewen in Hillsboro. On April 3, 1941, he was married to Helen Koop, who died in 2006.
He is survived by two sons, Robert and Rita and Charles and Mary, all of rural Hillsboro; a daughter, Carol and Sherwin Ratzlaff of Enid, Okla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Corey Andrew Marler and Mattie Lea Marler, infant twins, were stillborn Dec. 23 in Topeka.
A graveside service was held Dec. 29 at Marion Cemetery with Paul Oborny officiating.
They are survived by their parents, Kevin and Amanda (Overlin) Marler of Hillsboro; three sisters, Tori, Katie and Trinity Marler of Hillsboro; their grandparents, Doug and Janet Marler of Marion and Michelle Overlin of Eureka; and their great-grandparents, Louis and Sarah Stika of Marion and Mamie Brewer of Yukon, Okla.

Aaron C. Reimer, 78, printer for the Hillsboro Star Journal, died Dec. 26 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The service was held Jan. 2 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Bruce Porter officiating. Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 26, 1928, to Jacob A. and Katherine (Classen) Reimer in Jansen, Neb. On June 14, 1949, he was married to Margie Bartel, who died in 1996.
He is survived by a son, Cameron of Hillsboro; two daughters, Darla and Richard Klassen of Manitowoc, Wisc., and Delora and Kim Kaufman of Hillsboro; four brothers, Pete of Olathe, John of Plains, Dave of Meade and Ervin of Hays; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Martha E. Wyss, 90, died Dec. 21 at Susan B. Allen Hospital in El Dorado.
The service was held Dec. 26 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Burns. Burial was at the church cemetery.
She was born July 26, 1916, to Aaron and Matilda (Kraf) Criger in Potwin. On Nov. 2, 1938, she was married to William Wyss, who died in 2003.
She is survived by three sons, Darrell and Virginia, Alan, and Clifford and Cynthia; two daughters, Sharon and Dan Bellis and Loretta and Don Patterson; a sister, Nora Moore; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
