Raeanna Suit

Raeanna Marie Suit, 40, homemaker, died Dec. 18 in Wichita.

Services and inurnment will be held at a later date in Canton Township Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 16, 1966, to Clinton Ray and Donna Marie (Pohl) Suit in Goessel.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Armstrong; four daughters, Jessica Armstrong, Michelle Suit, Tashia Feldpausch, and Ciearra Feldpausch; a sister, Renae Kirker of Wichita; and friends Michelle and Curt O’Rear.

Verna Waltner

Verna R. Waltner, 79, former co-owner and manager of Central Kansas Hatchery in Moundridge, died Dec. 19 at Memorial Home in Moundridge.

Services were held Dec. 22 at Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge with pastors David Stevens and Gail Graber officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.

She was born Sept. 3, 1927, to Reinhard and Anna (Hiebert) Funk in Hillsboro. On Jan. 3, 1957, she was married to Waldo W. Waltner, who died in 2004.

She is survived by a son, Jerome K. of Newton; a daughter, Dianne R. of Wichita; two sisters, Lillian Peters of Hillsboro and Alice Schmidt of Goessel; and two grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Mennontie Foundation in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.
