Six Hillsboro High School singers have been selected to sing in the Kansas Music Educators Association State Honor Choir. These students sing in the Hillsboro High School Concert Choir and Spirit-N-Celebration under the direction of Lynn Just. Students who have been in a state level group three consecutive years receive a medal. Stepanek and Tyler Suderman will receive this honor. More than 3,000 singers auditioned for the 260-voice choir that will rehearse during the KMEA convention in February. The choir will perform Saturday, Feb. 24 in the Century II Concert Hall.
